The function of the leather tips and the none slip soles is to give the dancer a better grip both with their toe tips and with the soles of their feet. The choice of a knitted wool/nylon blend will reduce the number of injuries in connection with en pointe dancing and will give a better quality product with a higher level of comfort and longer life.
Product (the knitted part) consists of: 65 % wool and 35 % nylon.

By using this particular combination instead of just pure wool we have been able to create a product which exhibits both superior consistency and greater durability. We intend to start by introducing our product in the size range 37- 39 as our market research shows that the largest sales volume of this kind of footwear is in this particular size range. The product is light pink in colour and perfectly suited to ballet.
